An example of a very poor conversion. If the work you can see is that bad, just think how bad the hidden work is. Way too expensive in my opinion and definitely a money pit.

Very true, I can't even understand where half of it is - the dashboard for instance. I wonder what it actually started out life as, makes me think it might have been a crash test mule or a damaged car or something that was sold off cheap and someone has tried to build something out of it, watched frankenstein and then set to work..the v10 is a nice idea but it looks very unloved and judging from how many traders have tried to sell it - something is very wrong.

I expect someone has spent a lot of money with grand ambitions and is wed to the idea of getting it back. Probably unrealistic but if you put your money and a lot of hours into it? Maybe the remains of a couple of cars have been folded together. As you say the V10 seems a fun idea to make a monster Aero to go RS6/M5 baiting on a dry warm day when the traction stands half a chance. I cannot see it going anywhere other than some remaining spares but looking at the state of much of it I doubt many of the parts remains close enough to original to be re-used on other cars.

The asking price is just ridiculous.
You could buy a really nice S1 for that amount.

BMW V10 - never made that power - from the M5. Yes, one hell of an engine.....but that that BHP figure - looks very hiked!!!

Drifting a bit, I know, but with the demise of the Aero in any form is it not time for MMC to resurrect the Eva with the new chassis and BMW V6? The original concept was a victim of bad timing, but coughs and sneezes apart, Geneva 2021.....

Oooh yes. You can pop my name down on the list for an Eva. Lovely lines. I did raise the question with the factory a couple of times but never really got a straight answer as to whether the idea might be revisited. Seems like an awful lot of design genius gone to waste.

I think you are right, the value of the chassis will be in using it to bring something new not just in freshening the traditional shape, which is still very viable clearly.
The same way the AeroMax bought something new and fresh to the game back then it would be good to see something new, steampunk, retro etc etc and Eva fitted that brief well. I wish I could use one everyday and with CX Plus Six power and a hardtop it could be there finally.
