Perhaps we should a Morgan to make a TwinAir 4/4 as and entry point CX model  Actually the engine out of the Fiat 124 Spider would not be bad, rear wheel drive in manual and auto. 1,368 cc I4 MultiAir turbo (petrol) 140 PS (103 kW; 138 hp) at 5,000 rpm 240 N⋅m (177 lbf⋅ft) at 2,250 rpm

Maybe the mild Hybrid Fiat would be even better. I think the next 4/4 will be an electric/hybrid version. We have had four Fiat 500's on the fleet over the years. Always wanted a Panda 4x4 and a Pagani...

Not surprised you like it. I have the same 0.9 twinair engine (105ps version) in an Alfa MiTo.
You learn to drive it in such a way as to make the most of its: nothing, nothing, nothing, EVERYTHING... power delivery, by carrying speed and momentum through corners. With the sure-footedness of 4wd I'm sure your Panda is even more of a hoot. Yep, perfect description of the engine, we have the 105bhp version in our current 500. It's like a car version of my old Yamaha RD350 YPVS. Huge fun.

I hope the brakes and structural rigidity are better than the Yammy Tim. The mechanic I used always referred to it as a great engine in search of a ditch or a good home.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Was he talking about the earlier LC350, maybe? My YPVS was fine, I used it for hillclimbing as well as on the road and it was great.

I had an RD350LC and then added YPVS assembly later to try and make it even more peaky and unusable on the road. It would shimmy terribly under braking. I guess I might be conflating the two you are right.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
