I took the Aeromax to the VMAX200 'Overboost' event at Bruntingthorpe on 14th May. It's an event I've attended many times since the early days 5 or so years ago, in Morgans and non Morgans.

I'll put up more pictures at the weekend - but here are a few shots from the day of the Max courtesy of Steve Hall (trackdemon on PH - stevehall www.stevehallphotography.net) who is somewhat of a legend for his sideways antics in various cars, as well as being a very good photographer.

The Aeromax made a verified 156mph - an indicated 168mph on the speedo, and felt solid at that speed.

I had my first ever 200mph plus run there courtesy of Richard Meaden in the Noble M600 that was attending. That is incredible accelleration. Running in the 6's to 100mph, it topped out at around 205mph at the timing traps by the time we had to start braking.

Great photos of the 'Max Rich, very atmospheric and I personally think that rear three-quarter view shows off the lines to best advantage. notworthy A truly iconic shape!

Congrats...

Hi Rich,

Great photos of the AeroMax. I can leave the Noble.

How is life in a tintop ?

Any comparisons with the S4 ?

Cheers,

Steve

Guess that's a cue for me also to post some thoughts.

Without wishing to thread hijack I'll be brief.

I miss from S2:
My Tyres
The manual box
The storage behind the seats
That extra bit of power

What I appreciate on the Aero SS:
The lack of rattles and considerably improved fit and finish
The auto box but only in traffic
The stunning interior
The louder exhaust note and double side exits
The solidity with roof panels in or out and the ability to whip them off and stick them in the boot
The gorgeous and stunning shape
The sense of occasion, and I can't emphasise that one enough!!

As discussed with Simon, I wish I'd kept the S2 alongside the SS as a track demon!

Sorry for hijack Rich

Cheers
