It was a complete shambles in the end. A sad statement of how we are managing this crisis. Spectators queuing at the gate and at one point, a Prime Minister encountering us to go to the footy......

I'm patiently waiting for Theatres to be shut - as a christmas present, me and my Mrs were bought tickets to go and see 'Book of Mormon'. I have a complete and pathological hatred of musical theatre (the 'EastEnders' of the theatre world*) and have been dreading it . Fingers crossed the Birmingham Hippdrome will shut before next Saturday.....
To create a bit of balance, I have managed to get tickets to see The Tempest (one of my favourite Shakespeares) at the Minack (one of my favourite Theatres) in the summer.....

Im going to start the process of cancelling all my hotels for our trip into Europe in April.
This would have been our first long adventure in the MOG and we were really looking forward to it. Well pissed off :-(

flights continue to operate from and to Uk airports to N. Italy airports . How does this equate with lock down ? Are there passengers on these planes , if so what do they do when they get to N. Italy as many most meetings and tourist venues are shut ? 
Geneva 2016 plus 8' The Green Godess' 4 side exits .

Italy as many most meetings and tourist venues are shut ? Three days ago there was a report in my newspaper about airlines applying to the EU to keep their slots if flights are cancelled. So far it is that they lose the slots if they do not use them. That is why there are sometimes ghost flights that are completely unreasonable because they affect fuel, wear and tear and CO2. I don't know if this concerns the flights from UK to N Italy but probably not, or? At least it is not any longer ruled by the EU what happens on British airports, or?

Now it's serious.
My Morgan tour has been cancelled..... Our Monaco Historique tickets arrived today, I've got quite a lot of non-refundable money tied up in this self organised tour all the way down through France, with multiple specific interesting stop-offs booked on the way So... do or don't, what does the TM massive think ? When is it to take place? With respect, I don't think it's your decision. It will be the decision of the area you're going. Heinz, it's the 8-10th May but we set off late April, the uncertainty of finding Hotels shut en route, Museums shut we've planned to visit & by the time we finally arrive in Monaco, will the GP be off ? Then will we have problems getting back to home ? It's a pity for Mrs M, as we both have a significant birthday this year & this was our 'Trip of a Lifetime' treat to ourselves
