I would guess it must be an electrical issue as the wipers have never given any problem before, though saying that never had an electrical problem before either.

The module Harry refers to was replaced for the interior light not working, not the window and was described as for secondary electrics so may well include the wipers. Believe Harry also had an immobiliser/alarm fitted? Doubt the wrap company fiddled with the wipers, though they did put the indicator and brake light lamps on the wrong way round last time they wrapped the car doh

Hope you get it sorted Harry and as I said let me know!

Cheers

Chaps - thanks a lot!

If I had any way of posting photos of the car post wrap, I would: but being internet noncapable, I have no idea how to upload shots. I'll set up a web account for photos or something soon.

Results a bit mixed, actually. The Aero is a difficult car to wrap - it took 3 days, and the results are not perfect. However, they are good enough for me, the original paintwork is protected, and the car looks pretty good in very light grey, with the graphite/polished S3 wheels on it!

Now, this wiper fix...doesn't look that simple, sadly, as I use the battery cutoff switch to preserve the battery anyway, and still no joy. Call to BHM I think! Thanks anyway SImon.

Hi Harry, hope you get your electrics sorted soon. A bit annoying, particularly as this Aero was pretty bomb-proof in Boshers ownership. frown

Please post some photos Harry of the new wrapped beast, can't you just take some on your phone and onforward them to Simon for posting? camera

Cheers
B

Happy to send photos to any of you lot for hosting/posting: Have a bunch on my computer!

The backdrops aren't great, as they were taken in the garage, but you'll be able to see how I've defaced Boshers' car... smile

Exactly, so you end up with the colour you want without making the car unsaleable when you decide to sell. Just unwrap it, watch this space! innocent
