I concur O wise one from Knutsford,Norwich or somewhere beginning with N !!!!
There are some great deals to be had...not much is selling at the moment. I agree with Kev - which is unusual as where there are two Yorkshiremen together there is an argument - a number of dealers have had sales fall through so may be a good time to get a deal.

If you wait till near the end of the month you'd be surprised how low they'll go to break a deal.

I was talking to a prestige dealer today, car sales since Brexit announcement have been really really positive.
However, Corona has come along and things have fallen off a cliff.....would you buy a (Morgan) or a "daily" in these times? Not really in the 'prestige' category, but just bought a new Jeep Wrangler for Didn't need one (was only at the dealer to get her existing Jeep serviced) but the salesman confessed that it had been there for 60 days...and metallic Orange was not helping its showroom appeal... and the phone hadn't rung in a week. So two coffees later and over six and a half grand sliced off the price (which only brings them down to what they should cost to start with). Still, it's better then the premium these things were commanding just six months ago.

The Corona situation is a serious issue not only for car salesmen but also for those of us who have businesses and have to work to pay the bills.
At least the retired people can self isolate on their pensions, but the reality of the situation is that some car dealers and other businesses may not weather the storm.

He did the usual "what a great bloke" moment today and told his workforce to continue to come into work. Whilst I don't think it should be automatic that people be sent home it did feel a bit counter to current thoughts.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I am no economist and do not posses a crystal ball, however I expect that there will be a great deal of re-evaluation of just about everything, and the more time that passes our priorities are likely to become considerably more basic, and classic cars may not be quite as high on folks agenda as they have been...? How many toilet rolls might a Morgan be worth...ouch..! But then I never was good at optimism...(-:

It’s going to be really tough for the likes of me and Cain to tough this out All our capital is tied up in stock, and we rely on cash flow If you’re all not out using using your Morgan’s and bits falling off, we’re really going to struggle... Simon @ Sifab.co.uk Sifabtemporary@gmail.com

This will be the final nail in the coffin for hundreds of pubs/restaurants and hotels etc.
There's a lot of hardship to come and I feel sorry for anyone running their own business as several of my close friends do down here.
