It’s going to be really tough for the likes of me and Cain to tough this out

Simon ....as Morgans probably have the highest percentage of 'mature' owners with pensions.... who'll get bored with self isolation very soon and realise driving and fettling your car is fun and doesn't involve meeting people ... you may end up busier than you think .... I sincerely hope so

I went down to our high street today, partly for necessities but also bought a couple of discretionary items to give local businesses some support. When this passes I don't want to find a good high street has turned into a ghost town.

A bit early for me as the car is still under warranty but I expect I'll be queuing up for a replacement rad in a couple of years. I agree many owners of Mogs are probably in a relatively good position so hopefully Simon and Cain will be ok.

We all need to support each other in times like these and help the Morgan dealers and Parts suppliers if possible. Agree It could be a good time to self isolate in our garages and fit those parts we've been planning to buy!

I plan to use my Morgan even more...

petrol is as cheap as it has been for a long time...

I am in total isolation in my car...the roads (in North Yorkshire at least ) are very quiet.

I can take a pack up and use pay at the pump facility( with gloves)

What better way to spend your isolation..nice roads to drive and walk at the Yorkshire Coast.

Be safe everybody and be nice to each other !!!

Pecker up mate, I think a few of us understand the pain in other ways as well. Stay well. If there is a little light at the end of the tunnel it's that bits often fall of when they are at rest in the garage.

It is very important for the long term health of our community that we keep niche craftsmen like Simon and Cain going, even if by mail order rather than personal visits, so please bring forward any future purchases if you can to support them.

I plan to use my +8 as much as possible, fresh air and plenty of wind in the face, picnics out in the open at parks and gardens which are still open. Much better than being cooped up in tin top.
