Now I am self isolating, and needing something to do over the long weeks, I have decided to write a book.
With apologies to David Wellings, I have decided to call it
"Buying and Maintaining a Modern Traditional Morgan"
It will have two volumes, but as DIY to me stands for "don't involve yourself", each volume is quite short.
Volume 1 - Buying - Go to Oakmere
Volume 2 - Maintenance - Kick the tyres then go to Oakmere.
I wonder if Steve Morris or Sir Charles will do the forward for me?

Mine goes along the lines of:

Vol 1. Get the spanners out
Vol 2. Spend several hours swearing about the bodge job the previous owner has had done, and pray that the previous garage he used has had all their frigging tools confiscated.
Vol 3. Fix it myself, replace the bits that the PO has frigged up beyond repair or begrudgingly pay someone who's got better tools than me.

Kevin: a balcony, separate bed- and living rooms, two bathrooms! There are quite a few with less travel options.

Great! Even better.
Just arrived back from Majestic, they have almost run out of beer and Vouvray. These are hard times

Quite why an apartment that small needs 2 bathrooms to service 2 bedrooms baffles me, especially where there appears to be no storage space whatsoever?

It's very similar to the layout of my ski flat.

I can assure you, with swmbo and my two daughters in residence, two bathrooms is the bare minimum necessary to get out onto the slopes in good time in the morning.

Isn't that what sheds are for smile

I know swmbo and I have managed to fill up a small warehouse and three garages leaving just enough essential space for bikes, cars and boats.

Obviously old designs, both of them, the bathrooms don't have bidets
