Absolutely. I know a fair few teachers, none of them come even remotely close to the 'soft winging' caricature that Stewart describes.

I think you’ve taken my comments completely out context. I was specific about the ones I’d heard ringing into radio shows condemning the government at every point, first complaining bitterly that the government should have closed schools a month ago then complaining they still had to look after some children and go into work

I stand by that

Also (I’ll have you know (said in a school masters voice) all the women, including my mother, on my mums side of the family going back 4 generations have all been teachers with my great Aunt awarded an MBE as the first Headmistress of a mixed Secondary Modern in 1965
