I had the on my 1959 AH Sprite and loved the way they worked, and since I find the placement of the fasteners around the windscreen unwieldy I thought about changing all of them while I was at it.
Thanks for the input.

I have them on my car. Both tonneau cover and hood match. They are only on the sides from the rear of the door to the back corner, all others being press stud with lift the dot fixings for the windscreen.

Yes; they are fitted to my 2003 4/4 to fix the tonneau to the sides of the car.

The 4 wheel Morgans have used these in combination with the lift dots. On the M3W these would work well because the cover is rather loose, where you have a tight fitting such as the hood on the 4 wheeler's these would be difficult to use.

All of my tonneau dot fasteners are easy to use because they are accessible EXCEPT the ones behind the windscreen. My tonneau is pretty darn tight (it is the mohair version) and the possibility of scratching the inside of the windscreen certainly exists. Another local M3W owner wants to change his windscreen to the two small wind deflectors because of this issue.
I am not sure if it is possible to change the ones behind the screen without removing the body from the frame.
