Dan, I haven't seen that Chris Harris video in awhile, thanks for posting it.

Reference factory cars, some stay with the factory for awhile and some get sold on rapidly - the condition varies greatly depending on the mentality of the people who they have been loaned to (we're all aware of the few that have been written off by over zealous journos! drive ).

Each car really needs to be judged on individual condition at time of sale. In the case of the one that started this thread, imho, it is vastly overpriced no matter what the condition when you consider recent sales and what is currently on the market (as an alternative purchase).

Yeah Chris Harris is a great Journalist. I love his AeroMax Review for Drivers Republic, shame that it ended really.

Yeah went alright thanks, was actually looking at that S3 for my father but with the High Mileage and that price, I might wait until the winter as they often come cheaper out of season.

I would keep looking, better cars are out there for less money. A good S3 should be available under 55k, over that price and you should be picking up an S4. Everything depends on colour and condition, mileage should be irrelevant if well looked after. In reality it makes a little difference, but us enthusiasts know that an Aero that has been used and well cared for will usually be a better owner proposition than a low mileage garage queen.,.

Exactly, atleast then you know that the car has had care and attention over it's life and not just sitting in a garage while the battery runs flat. Hopefully I am going down to the Factory in a few weeks, Mark from PR said he would take me out in the Press Aero SS drive

hello selcouth, we met unexpectedly in a pub car park in borham a couple of months back, 2 aero 8s turning up at a pub at the same time whats the chances of that ?.
if you sell your car how many essex owners will be left.

Unfortunately not a lot. I often see a lot of Morgan's heading down to Melvyn Rutter's but I'm hardly down that way, Boreham and Hatfield P is where I spend most of my time.
