There's me thinking "nice brake drum,but his milling machine slipped a bit on the far side there"  Enjoying the engineering ..... currently up my elbows in the woodwork for my resto ..... pining for my angle grinder and welder ....I love wood .....but hate working with it ....horrid untrustworthy stuff !!! K

There’s a few variations on a theme, but all use Ford in-tank fuel pumps, with the fuel pump outer cover secured by a large threaded collar ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/03/21/B2630E35-44A5-4735-8C92-FE09DCA68E7B.jpg) The factory aluminium tanks, use a couple of bent pieces of aluminium to locate the fuel pump assembly onto the base of the tank I thought that was a bit crude, so I reverse engineered the bayonet fitting used in the Ford tanks.
