Yes, just up the road from the hat and stick, one of our locals. Spent most of the rest of the day spit and polishing. Wanted to be out more, but 3 up on Mothersday wasn't a realistic prospect! Saving up now for a 4 seater as a second mog!! Hope this health situation clears before the summer.

Yes, just up the road from the hat and stick, one of our locals. Ace, I'm in there a lot (or I used to be), never with the Morgan though - the Uley Bitter is just too tempting. I'm sure you know Rodda has now turned it into a corner shop, selling essentials and takeaway beer.

Hi Tim, yes I'd heard that; diversification and flexibility in strange times; and lots of local breweries doing firkin deliveries too. Also there quite frequently, and mostly with the Morgan since I picked it up in February. When we're weaned off the social distancing I'll be back in for a drop of Uley too. You'll know when I'm there or just wave me down; I'm a daily addict with no better place to keep the Morgan other than beneath my rear end No complaints about that See you around soon Cheers Phil

I would dislike to be thought of as a spoil sport, however as best I can understand the situation is that all responsible individuals should be taking as many measures as possible to reduce the demand on the NHS relative to their OWN choice of activity, ie, reducing the risk of necessarilly involving others to recover you and yours, or me and mine from ANY situation...?
Morgans may occasionally break down, some even have accidents, thus taking the Mog out for a run would seem to introduce a measure of risk for how many others, till you return from whence you came...?
Of course if one has to use any vehicle as a key worker, or for any other truly justifiable reason then why not use the Morgan, though I guess there is perhaps a risk that others might think you are just out for a selfish jaunt.. hmm..? Difficult times indeed...?
Though BoJo may well tighten things up a bit for those who up till now seem to be failing to understand the possible effect of their actions on others, let alone themselves and those they care for..?
Just thinking in type.

To the shops and back- too far to walk, and to get to work. We don't have a freezer, let alone a second one, and only 2 store cupboards for dry goods; no microwave, and only a small fridge, so consequently we shop every day or two for the three of us, a cat and a dog. I do have another car, a 06 saab estate diesel with 165k on the clock; as for which one will break down or be involved in a crash, well that's anyone's guess. I'm self employed as a surveyor, can work remotely and isolated without needing to interact with anyone; some days I neither see nor speak to anyone from before dawn to when i arrive home after dusk. I've done well in my business, and therefore any attempt to claim the £94.50/week on offer through universal credit will be futile; I had to return the first months claim when I was unable to work for 6 months because of lung cancer two years ago, due to the minimum income floor in my case of £1050, and outstanding invoice totals. Sport to spoil? , there is none in these times, unless you count the Olympics and other "unnecessary" activities. Self awareness, responsibility and doing the right thing?, well thoughts on that might be more aptly directed at those who shop with a mega trolley or insist on converging at the nearest beach or park or caravan site at the first sign of sunny weather. Keeping a sense of proportion and sane? I'd have thought that anyone owning a Morgan is most likely capable of that, and burbling round for a half hour in what most insurers would consider to be a better than average maintained car, and a more careful than average driver, with less than the average number of vehicles on the road, I would suggest is a pretty low risk. Here's hoping we all stay healthy and sane with the best possible outcome. Be careful, and be kind

I used mine this morning for my weekly trip to the Acunpuncturist for my dose of pain relief :They're shutting up shop for the duration on Thursday so going to try and get one more session in before then and hope that'll see me through. Can't even get any painkillers as the stores are empty Was refered to the NHS Acute Pain Clinic last year. Finally got an appointment through in January, where they decided on a course of treatment (something like Pulse Radio Denervation). To date, not even received a letter confirming when it's going to happen. Have rung a couple of times, prior to the virus, but got told 'we're very busy'. and that I'll get an appointment letter soon. Absolutely no chance now! Still, at £40 a pop, paying for my Acupuncturists next holiday
