Here in Colorado all educational establishments have been closed for 10 days and will remain closed till mid April when it will be reassessed, they have gone onto online learning. My Daughter in-law who teaches at elementary has prepared her lessons online and they are sent to parents to work with the children, end of last week she had 65% success rate hoping to improve this week. The State is providing daycare assistance for critical workers who need their children to be looked after.

The three large caravan parks near us have announced they are closing until further notice and those already there are told to leave by Wednesday. Must be difficult for some who come up here to stay for several months in static caravans to pack up and travel back home. But the sites say that they can’t risk the overwhelming of the medical services up here.

My son and his girlfriend work at the biggest in Newquay and they shut up shop Saturday and have started the refunding process, they are lucky as they are well thought of and will be kept on for whenever the season does begin. They have their own organic off grid smallholding so their overheads are low and their quality of life high with all that surfing.

Rather sadly the site have received threats and abuse were they to remain open for trade.

True but yet again the new contagion are down in Lombardia (and nationally) and the number of persons hospitalised has reduced. If this trend continues tomorrow and the day after I think we will be able to say that we are starting to come out of it.

The hope of our doctors is that other countries can learn from our experience and take action on it.

The thing I find a little puzzling is the low incidence of death rate in Germany which was reputed to be the source for your country, the only logic I can apply is that having worked in that country for three years is that they tend to be very disciplined and maybe that is the key that most of the population did isolate themselves, if so that is the lesson for all other countries to follow.
