Enforced innocent trip, top down in Morton today. 25 mile blast in the sunshine back from Mildenhall drive

Started with a panic call this morning to body shop following last night's ruling. Sure enough they were closing for the duration today, but corrosion warranty paintwork just completed on wing which was bolted back on by early afternoon. A tiny stone dent also attended to by beating out rather than filler. Lucky timing - phew!

South Wales Police have announced they will be stopping motorists to check on their journey reason.
Sensible policy. Following the weekend’s fiasco of large numbers gathering in parks and beaches it was inevitable that sanctions would be tightened. I am not in the “go for a run in the Mog” brigade. It’s unlikely I will drive the Mog for a while. The 3 week review schedule is a bit optimistic for relaxing the lockdown too. More likely that things will tighten more and extend for weeks.

Had to do some essential deliveries yesterday to some relatives who can't shop, I decided to take the Mog as I suspect it may be the last run out for a while

I did read here https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-new-rules-life-Britain-really-mean.html (it is the daily mail though so open to debate) that going for an occasional drive is fine if you do not get out and have a chat with anyone.

I still have to drive to work for the foreseeable future so may use the Mog occasionally to keep it mobile
