Hi ALL
I Have just purchased a car that has generated a lot of opinions on here. Its the aero 8 with the bmw v10 fitted with the aeromax looking body and yes i am a little bonkers
i am looking for parts, history and advise (scrap it is what i expect to here from the purists) but its pretty, Fast and the only way i can afford one

Hello and welcome, some pics would be appreciated if/when you can find time to post any. Fundamentalism has a bit of a bad rep these days, but friendly discussion always appreciated... Me..? I have an appreciation for many of the values of originality these days, but it was not always that way... I was young once..

Welcome to TM and the best of luck with finishing off this project car, it has all the ingredients of being something sensational in the performance stakes we will all be most interested to see your progress. You are a very brave lad  p.s. SimonH on here has the most experience of Aero's by far (on a professional engineering level) and I am sure he will help you on the parts side of things. p.p.s. The reason I believe the car got a rough ride on here was the stupid price the vendor was asking for a non standard car.

In the adverts it looked unloved. I really hope you can put it on the road and make it look loved. Nothing worse than an unloved car (or boat or aeroplane for that matter).

Pleased the car has found a home and I wish you the very best of luck with the project. IMHO the BMW 5l V10 and if well installed in the Aero 8 should make for a fantastic car.

Good luck in getting the car back on the road.
I don’t have any issues with the non standard mods. Why not? After all, it is another Special Projects variant in essence.
Keep us updated and remember there Are good sources of info here from well versed Aero people.
