Wow that looks stiff Simon. How did it compare to a regular trad ? Regular trad has a torsional stiffness in the 100's of lbs/degree ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/03/28/74409964_10156344262572038_6161606391178985472_n.jpg) The calculated stiffness of the Class A chassis was in the order of 4800lbs/degree So stiffer than an Elise chassis, stiffer than an Aero Mk1 (which incidentally was the stiffest of the Aero variants), probably stiffer than a CX chassis too... This is a combined bolt in sump baffle and windage tray for the TR engined +4’s As the drivers are pushing harder than ever these days, they are starting to see oil surge when cornering on track The standard oil pick up on TR engine is a long sock like gauze, running along the bottom of the sump pan. It’s size makes it impossible to adequately battle the sump, so we designed a new pickup, that bolts directly to the bottom of the oil pump. We had to get these 5 axis machined because of some of the geometry of the part The new pick up allows for a much smaller area to be baffled with one way trapdoors ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/03/21/8D1FBED3-A133-40F0-AC0F-68B1B7B44761.jpg) An old aluminium sump was 3d scanned and then sectioned to check for proper clearance Simon @ Sifab.co.uk Sifabtemporary @ gmail.com
