clutch pedal falls flat to floor. before i get under .is the return spring on the Moss bos slide mechanisium to weak or ts there a spring or retaining clip on the pedal itself.

The diaphragm spring on the clutch cover is probably responsible for 95% of the effort in returning the clutch pedal. The spring on the slide mechanism is only a helper spring
I'd advise getting under and having a look to see if it's anything obvious such as a sheared clevis pin.

clutch works fine just a case of reach down to the floor to lift before i can get foot on pedal embarrising in traffic

clutch pedal returns ok from engagingthe clutch the pedal then floops back towards me onto the floor
