Hi there smile

This afternoon, just after having switched from Kilometers "total" to "trip" ,(while driving) my speedometer stopped working. Any idea?

Thanks for you replies,
Ivo

Hi,

A little update...

First attempt was, to re-enter the speedometer-code. After that my mechanic swapped the instrument itself with a working one, and then, the black box, that's located in the engine compartment's fuse box.

Unfortunately, all without a result. My car is now scheduled for further troubleshooting for the 22. June.

Meanwhile I asked Mr. Baldwin from the factory for assistance. He already very kindly helped me with my lost ignition key, and the anti-tramp bar, so I'm confident that he will have a solution for me also this time.

I keep you informed.

Sunny greetings,
Ivo

Hi smile

My baby is back from my dealer, and the speedo works. It was the speed transducer at the gearbox end, just as suggested by Mr. Baldwin. My thanks go to him, and of course to my mechanic thumbs

It looks, like this transducer has been modified meanwhile. Pressing the little button, and the failure of speedo had nothing to do with each other. Funny coincidence indeed...

Sunny greetings from Luxembourg,
Ivo

Thanks for the update Ivo. Well know what to check first when the speedo stops.
