And to quote Jon Wells, “But when it comes to EVs, we’re making an electric Morgan, not making a Morgan electric,”

To me the last Aero 8 has to be the nicest looking Morgan ever built. Just a pity they did not see fit to make a version with a smaller motor such as the current Plus 4.

I always felt that there were two things that did not work: the fuel filler that required the boot to be opened and the rearward opening boot that required luggage to be lifted over the flanks of the car.

Thanks for posting Martin it's always good to have a new model to look forward to and a new Aero especially.

I really hope they concentrate on the EV3 I think that would sell really well now as a limited range commuter for the eccentric city elite types and so much more fun than a PP3 bike and very stylish.

well, 20 years ago the Aero was used to introduce radical new tech to Morgan... how shocking would it be if the first hybrid Morgan were an Aero-bodied CX chassis derivative, in a couple of years?

I don't see them having any other option than going hybrid or full on battery tbh.. I expected the Plus 6 or 4 to be so but I think they still have to sort out the electric drive side of things having been short changed with the EV3 drivetrain suppliers.

Now if they went Hydrogen I really would get excited.

I agree, and it is also unusual for a car to get prettier with later iterations, but Morgan certainly achieved it.

I think the new Aero (or flagship replacement) is something really exciting, I have all sorts of Art Deco running through my head so I cannot wait to see it!
