Just saying G'day ('hi')! from Perth Australia and hoping you are all doing ok and keeping safe. It sounds horrendous in the UK when we watch the news here in OZ... we have comparatively few cases.

I hope you are managing to at least sit in, admire, clean, modify or drive up and down the driveway all your great machines! Sadly photos is all I have of mine all tucked up back home.

Maybe a new 4/4 should indeed rename the 'platform' the 'CXIX'! What a crazy world eh guys...

Aside from that, please keep safe and well... I guess like us here, we still have no bog roll, are all slowly going mad, getting fatter and becoming alcoholics!

Cheers,

Pete. cheers

Pete,
at JohnV6 mansion we have a drive to move the car on, beer, red wine & too much food.
Luckily we have also a garden so we are just turning into bronzed versions of Mr & Mrs Blobby.

They say that hygiene is very important and you should wash you hands regularly and use alcohol hand cleaner. I have run out of vodka, the gin is getting low so I will have to start on the grappa. I absolutely refuse to wash my hands with a single malt. [Linked Image]

Be careful with the grappa Peter , it makes a very good paint stripper substitute.

Do they still sell the grappa brand in a bottle the shape of a ladies bottom, discreetly covered with a pair of knickers Peter?

I have never seen it. Probably a novelty thing of the time rather than a continuing tradition. I could not find anything that matched that description in a search on the net.

I just found an interesting "letter" from an Australia Chest Physician whilst search for the Shakespeare quote "Now is the winter of our discontent". I think it makes interesting reading.

Once seen in Stratford branch of Millets - " Now is the discount of our winter tents". Priceless.

Thanks for looking. Mario at Al Verde had it on the shelf at the back of his bar in the 80's and 90's.
