Mine will be up for sale at BHM (although another forum member is test driving it tomorrow) and will be up for 38-40k. It's immaculate apart from kerbed wheels (never bothered rectifying them, as cannot find anyone near me/BHM who does magnesium wheels). It has had every single one of the S1 issues dealt with, is a rather fetching colour scheme, and has the desirable later 5 nut (rather than centre lock) hubs and wheels. If it doesn't sell this weekend, I shall put a thread up. I've been a bit lax about selling the old girl, to be honest!

I have seen average condition Aeros for £33k, and an immaculate S1 sold at £44k. I'd look for one that has had all the familiar issues sorted out though. As an owner, I can tell you that this has cost thousands of pounds. I made the mistake of buying a very low mileage car that had hardly been driven. Didn't make the same mistake with my S2...!

Cheap, when you consider the cost of that thing above smile

Sorry SS, seen nice things and heard about many good things you do/have done, that ain't one of them! IMHO of course.

Cheers

Agreed Boshers - what they've done to that poor S1 is unforgivable.

Oh god I 'quite' like it............
Not keen on the large cowl, and I'd have the number plate back where it should be, but the cutaway doors are OK by me, and I like the colour, not that I go for pastel shades.

But my favourite shape is the Series 4.
