My Morgan history

During the lockdown as well as finishing off a few jobs on my 1969 Morgan 4/4 I have been trying to contact some of its previous owners. Today I received a mail from the chap who owned it in the 1980/1990’s. He provided this picture of the car on a skiing trip in about 1984. So time well spent !

Me neither ....the wonders of technology ....it shows up fine in the album header page ...then won't load from within the album ..... this computer lark's going to be quite the thing once they get it working I reckon smile

Very nice 'period pic' if the header is anything to go by ....it's good to have some history behind our cars

Needs to take the "e" out of ".jpeg". It should show then.

Graham...this is Phil's thread about his car so I don't want to turn it into a geek -fest but how odd is it that the site has no problem with the file in the album header but can't handle it in the album it's a header of ! ? .... like me being able to speak French in the living room but having forgotten how in the kitchen.... there's no doubt a good reason for it but I can't think what.

Graham,

Taking the e out of jpeg ?

You might as well ask me to walk to the moon.

I might try again later using the laptop rather than my ipad

That may fix it, I believe it's Apple products that insert the redundant e for some reason.

Anyway, have this on me (no E numbers)

Thanks John, I’m afraid technology has past me by !

As you can see the car was British racing green (as it left the factory) the previous owner told me he later had it painted metallic grey to match his fathers Bentley... you think that is a typical Morgan owner in the day ?
