On Sunday I was heading to Monmoth have spent a weekend castle hunting and was confronted by a rally of some sorts heading towards Brecon, all sorts of cars Bentley, TRs, Austin Healys and of course Morgans but the one thing I did notice they all had uncovered numbers which I thought was illegal when driving on the road.

So does anyone know what event it was and can anyone put me right on the numbers thing.

Thanks

Event wise, there were a few things going on in the area last weekend, so a bit hard to say- pls fact that if they were going towards Brecon ( on the A40 I guess?) they might have been going further West so that ups the possiblities even more

As to number plates- you want to take a look at the bikes on that road every weekend. Small/ obscured number plates are the order of the day
I dn't know how many of you know the WestEnd Cafe in Llandovery but those who do kno what I mean!
Cheers,
G

To avoid confusion, I meant racing numbers on doors and bonnets, but yes certainly the bikes had micro number plates!
