The UK oil industry is now completely paddle-less and the creek has a bad smell.

We saw $0.88c AUD last week here in Perth... at last weeks exchange rate that was about £0.45p per litre!

Looking at historic pricing and inflation, 1973's average of 75p a gallon roughly equates to £9.50 or more today......

The service station on the A34 near Winchester today was still £1.34/L !
Tesco was £1.17 for Prem UL so not quite where it could be given the pricing, no one offered me money to take it away.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

That's a bit steep considering, it was £1.05 Litre at Morrisons in Totnes today and we are always well behind any drop in prices normally.

Wow Aussie is the lucky country , we are still as usual high with the petrol companies holding hands , equivalent to about UK 1.15 per litre

Morrisons here is £1.04, Asda slightly less.

Typical. I'd just topped the MINI up at my local Shell at 1.05. Rarely use supermarket petrol anyway, so the Morgan will have Shell or Esso (both are just around the corner) this morning.

Always found the cheapest petrol at Asda in Tamworth during my travels, at least two or three pence below average lowest price elsewhere. Wonder what it is now.
