Colorado must be excellent in a Morgan 3 Wheeler! Congrats! I would consider Stage 1 exhausts to compensate for the altitude though. My last road trip through the area was in a non-turbo Subaru that really struggled on some of the “hills”

Welcome, another good reason to move the lights out is to improve access to the front of the engine for cleaning. If only this virus would subside naturally we could all get out and have some fun. 😎👍

Pulling the lamps away from the cylinders must surely improve airflow over the cylinders aiding in cooling.

Welcome to the M3W insanity! By the way: have you purchased the rear mudguard option? If you did and it came installed from Factory, be careful with how they fixed it! Have a look: https://www.speedymarmots.com/works-5-properly-re-installing-the-rear-mudguard/You'll find threads in here about this issue.

Welcome to TM, told you the approval would come through eventually, glad your M3W arrived safely. Rather than looking at the expense of a stage 1 exhaust for the same results I would consider doing a Bafflectomy, frees up the engine for going up the mountains and canyons at minimal cost. Remember the sage Morgan Owners advise; Drive and enjoy your Morgan for a year noting what you want to upgrade/change, etc. then carry out the projects. Our winters are long enough with the Morgans in the garage for you to do any work.

I don't feel the vehicle is sluggish but it is less happy below 2500 RPM and likes to stay in the 3500 RPM range.

Javier thanks for the welcome. No, I have not heard of the mudguard. Since I did not order my M3W, and bought it from dealer floor, I did not even know about this. I will have to keep an eye and perhaps retrofit this solution at some point.

Actually my purchase of the M3W is sort of a spur of the moment reaction a few days after my cousin died of complications from Coronavirus. He was a few years older than I and a month before his death we were talking about some mundane things and then one morning my sister texted me that our cousin had passed away. It got me thinking that life is short and we should cherish the time we have. I was in a frame of mind where I thought to hell with it and I just bought this 3-Wheeler to enjoy drives (which is my favorite thing) and go on journeys with my wife and make some precious memories. So - this fine morning I took my wife on a drive into the hills: https://jawad.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p3890483796-5.jpg ![[Linked Image]](https://jawad.zenfolio.com/img/s/v-10/p3890483796-5.jpg)

You'll be disappointed to hear that I have broken the tenets of your advice off the bat and already ordered a Garage 56 stage 1 kit This after reading many posts on this forum about the need to allow the engine to breathe and rev freely. But other than this one expensive change, you will see that I will heed you advice to the fullest and not make any changes to the vehicle for a year or even more. I look forward to meeting you soon.
