Hi Guys,
Last nights Virtual Albert Ball meeting was a first for us on Zoom.
21 were invited, 20 turned up ( one couple lost the invite link) Red faced this morning eh Rhys ?
Chris Golding our famous Red Leader did a great presentation with Albert Ball pictures.Thanks Chris.
Mark Henry did, as usual a lovely commemoration to Albert Ball. Thanks Mark.
A really good twist was special guest Rich Duisberg ( of MotorPunk fame) he shared some special pictures with us and we had a good laugh. Brilliant Rich.
The second half of the meet was opened up to chat. It was great to see everyone in the Group, newcomers Javier and Ana Maria, Mark from Florida, Raphy from the South of France plus all the regular gang. Quite an amount of alchohol was consumed during the meeting wasn't it Carole ?
That the meet went on for almost two hours is a sign that between us we have built some great friendships with that common bond, we all have Morgan Three Wheelers.
This morning there appear to be numerous calls for more. As we were due to set off for the IOM on 22nd May I feel that a Virtual IOM trip would be good. I have already done some work on it. Those attending the meet will at the start watch a video of driving the IOM circuit. The host will then ask a bunch of questions about the video. You will write your answers on a notepad. Then the host will check your answers visually. Virtual prizes will be awarded and of course drinking and chatting later in the meet.Watch this space.
