Thanks everyone. Bad battery seems to be the consensus here so I am going to get a new battery today.
Fingers crossed.

I would advise that you consider wiring from the battery through to a cockpit female connector so that when the car is not in use you can easily plug in, and leave it on a battery conditioner, unless maybe, the M3W is going to be your primary form of transport.

Interstate makes a battery that fits in the space and has plenty of CCA.

Not sure the number of it.

The accessory socket is direct wired. I plug my battery conditioner in there with its"cigarette socket adapter"...

Thanks, everyone for your tips and help.
I got a replacement battery from the local Batteries+Bulbs "Xtreme AGM 30L-BS Powersport Battery CYLA30LXTA" . This is the model my M3W came with.
3-Wheeler happy and starting now!

And yes I did get a battery tender also to keep this from happening again anytime soon.

So I joined this club last weekend. Dealer fitted a new Banner last year (4yrs old so junk; wish they had fitted something better!). Recharged on the battery conditioner over the weekend (12.4v showing on the instrument panel at rest / after a start attempt). Nothing but clicking.

Li-Ion booster had no effect (possibly too puny?).

So I need to check the connectors on the starter motor (hmmm if I can find it - top left hand side per the parts list. and maybe use a small rubber mallet to give a whack on the starter engagement in case it has "stuck"...

Any other thoughts appreciated!

It's probably worthwhile to also check the battery ground cable attachment. On my car, that cable attaches to the back edge of the battery tray, to a small countersunk screw that had a fair amount of resistance causing surface rust in the countersink area when I checked it after a non starting incident. Which reminds me I need to look around for a better chassis grounding point.

Thanks for the guidance - the earth connection seemed solid, as did the starter connections. The Banner was fully charged per my CTEK trickle charger. Dang.

I got a new jump start Lithium battery this week - claiming a 1000A output start 2000A output peak! 22Ah but 83Wh. Came in a nice box. These batteries have a clamp unitthat plugs into the battery unit, and the battery unit itself. On this one the instructions state you clamp the car battery then attach the Lithium battery, but on doing so the LED display on the clamp showed it to be on standby on ready to charge, and the battery stayed at 100%...
My older puny battery charged to 100% would not start the car, but I tried its clamp on the new larger booster battery... and success! Car started really after 1 turn!

Lesson: always check these boost batteries work! I'd taken the old one through Spain thinking it would boost the Banner into life - a false premise!
