Personally I'd:
- try to stick to the factory images but I do not know if there could be some copyright issue
- have all pics with the same angle and same size (even when opened, so resizing them all upfront)
- no more than two pics for each serie. 3/4 front and 3/4 rear
- pics with specs as stock as possible (e.g. wheels)

If then you want to be covered of a violet aeross, those are not missing.

I managed to update the references as well, although I don't quite understand the format of the first (as in you cannot see the full text when editing).

If we want to use factory images we have to get permission from steve and quote the Copyright text required by MMC.
Something like
"Copyright Morgan Motor Company 2011, reproduced by permission, 2020.

Interestingly it seems they specifically call out types of images, so works in the public domain released from copyright, wikipedia compatible license images, or direct from the owner with permission.. I am guessing it will be easier to use photos from here which have the owners permission rather than risking copyright and trying to figure out what is what.

I will have a scan and see what I can find, although I might not have much time today! cheers

Steve Morris?
To be fair if we find some decent images I have no problem sending him a quick email to ask..

These usually comes from official press releases. They will not cover everything but still...

Well done Ale, I've just looked at the new Aero 8 Wiki site and there's some great content. However, there are also some bloopers including in the first sentence on the Series 1 "and designed by the firm's designer Matthew Humphries." I'm afraid that this is incorrect as Matt Humphries was not involved in any way with Morgan at this time. Matt's first Morgan car design was the AeroMax, he sent the basic design of it to CM when he was at Coventry University and joined Morgan on a KTP programme, see LinkedIn Incidentally, I picked up my first Aero 8 - Series 1 'Kermit' in 2002, having delayed the build somewhat.

The Aero 8 shape evolved in the traditional Morgan way of form follows function and the main players were Chris Lawrence, Charles Morgan and other members of the Morgan Engineering Team, and Norman Kent of Survirn Engineering Ltd - especially for the tooling of the Aero wings.

Radshape were heavily involved in the chassis (Graham Chapman, the current MMC Development Director was working for them at that time) and Superform with much of the body panels, both companies eventually producing for MMC when the car was launched. I'll reread the Wiki entry and let you have any possible other comments in due course.

Yes, yes, I fully agree. The point was to kickoff this and to make it more readable. The great advantage of Wiki is that anybody can edit the page and make it everyday better, directly editing the page. Happy to do it for you if you let me know sections where I can make a "blind" copy paste replacing the existing text.
Then I think the same text could be pasted back in the post pinned in this TM section.

I think it's best if you do it as you know what you consider to be relevant, I'll let you know what I remember from the time and you edit accordingly Ale; if you think it has merit. Incidentally, I will check with MMC if I'm not sure of my facts!

The decision not to have pods (headlights) on the new Morgan was taken during the time that they were using Plus 8 development cars and I think there was a Yellow Plus 8 that had Porsche lights fitted! The choice of headlights was very much a question of what was available at the time, initially I believe that BMW were thinking about Morgan using the Cooper S lights, but decided against it as they wanted their own model to be the first to launch these lights.
