A friend of mine did it the other way on his Plus 8. Now a four seater. Not many of those. So I guess it would be possible.

But why change to a 2 seater, there are much less convenient.

With a 4 seater you can do your weekly supermarket shop, and put it all in the back; you can go on holiday, there is plenty room for bags etc. You can go camping, lots of space for tents, sleeping bags etc. ooo

I have been tempted by 2 seater a few times but would miss all that space if I was to sell A11OGE. drive

+1 a four seater - there is no reason to convert it to a version that is much more regular and less convenient at the same time.
I love the luggage space in mine and have to admit that I never had the rear seats mounted;-)

It was the Simmonds conversion I was thinking of. I personally would stick with it as is.

If it were me, I think I'd strip out the rear seats and make a luggage area as TBM has don, and think about restyling the hood to get a sleeker profile rather than embarking on a full conversion, which would be a pretty major job.

Very pleased with the back set up. Personally I like the look of the four seat, and keep the seats in most of the time, but it does make it a very useful space when the seats are removed. When we're 'house rabbit less' we're planning on getting a couple of rescue dogs and it will make it much easier to take them out and about with us.

We use the Morgan a lot for touring and always come back with every available space filled up, mainly food and wine. I have often thought that the space of a 4 seater would be handy. I think that if I had a 4 seater I would definitely want a cover that covered the back seat/luggage space, even with the hood up to hide anything that was in there from prying eyes. If I was using it as a 2 seater with luggage space I would want a hood more like an extended 2 seater hood. I find the rear part of the 4 seater hood very "blocky" and unattractive. The rear section of the hood on this MG TD is more attractive and follows a lower line.
