My 69 4/4 run really well except front supension on bumps.
It looks like shocks are to softs (not adjustable) and/or spring close fully on bumps (missing bump stop?) making a none mechanical "Clonk" noise on speed bumps.
Any advice (or confirmation it is all normal on a Morgan!) warmly welcome !

huggy, both is possible. In my case, especially the springs were too soft. The fact that your shocks are not adjustable doesn't necessarily mean that they are too soft from the ground up. Most shock absorbers that are not adjustable have a good average value. But of course they could be too old and worn out by now. Still I would start with the springs.
Here at TM there are certainly other members who have more detailed knowledge about the year of construction of your car and what you specifically need.

Suspect the springs have “gone soft”. My 2011 4/4 has the same problem. On the to do list think I’ll go for 140lb. Even new the 95s were tooo soft. Allows the Bump stop to be hit on a regular basis. I fitted adjustable Avo s which made a huge difference. But if you adjust them to to hard setting the suspension does not work properly. Just my opinion. Happy to be corrected.

Same here! I have the 140lb Mulberry springs plus the Mulberry steering bearings (so the springs are a bit shorter when I remember correctly) in combination with the adjustable Avo‘s and it is a great experience since 4 years. The original front springs on my 2014 4/4 were way too soft.

I notice some of your cars are more modern than mine.
For the older cars do you think I can change only front shocks and spring? or I need to make the lever shock rear conversion at the same time?
I have no problem with rear lever shocks: a bit bumpy and old school but no strange handling or anti mechanical noise.

Rear lever shocks are pretty easy service (just done mine - 1972 4/4) and upgraded to adjustable valves which gives a wide range of damping settings.

huggy, as you describe it, the springs in the back are a little harder than too soft. If there is a problem in the rear nowadays it is mostly when the leaf springs become too soft. This does not seem to be the case with you, but of course it is an advantage if a specialist can check if everything is ok in the rear. Hard springs can mask if the shock absorbers are not working properly.
