Strangely , this car is quite local to me, but I have never heard of or seen it. There were Attwells in the local Swansea motor club, but don't recall a Morgan. Don't think it's a Rutherford one. I had one when I was Auto crossing. The backpanel is wrong the wheel should be resest into it. I am more mystified by the front antiroll bar......an interesting car. Wish I was a few years younger.

The angle of the windscreen looks wrong & the doors are definitely wrong.

I noticed the antiroll bar. I did a tax check on 824thu and it's first registered in 1963, with an engine size of 1147cc. This just happens to be the same as a 1200 Herald or Spritfire. This also happens to be a common kit car base. A new log book was issued late in 2019. The other car, KVA, was first registered in 1981 which was just before he set up his kit car business.
So exactly what the auction is for is not very clear, one or both of the cars?

That Antiroll bar looks very Triumph to me.
Very dodgy.

A true poverty model as it doesn't have louvres , a spare wheel well or a wood dash.

The fact that the seller thinks that you can buy Morgans as kits is the first big warning along with the carb story, I think John 07 has probably hit the nail on the head with this one. There was a similar vehicle turned up in NZ some years back and the owner was convinced that it was a Morgan ....

Found this on the German Wiki (doesn't appear on the UK for some reason)

KVA Cars

Adds credence to it being a replica/kit car

And from this forum

GT40 forum

Incidentally, he had already made another replica (Morgan, I think) for his daughter, so was a fairly handy person with the tools.
