Please could anybody tell me what bolts I need to fix sun visors to the windscreen frame of a 2012 plus 4? They don't appear to be metric... I've tried a selection.
Thanks Nick

Just taken off side screens from my “94 plus 4 replacing the screws with shorter ones. You’re right they’re not metric, mine were 10-32 UNF. Easily obtainable in stainless too. I also tried 2BA in stainless and they may have fitted but I felt that the UNF just felt right.
Not sure it’s entirely relevant but that’s what mine turned out to be

Yes that is right... the bolts that go in the 4 mounting points on the top rail of the windscreen.

Thanks Nick The parts book (2006-2014) shows a countersunk socket screw M5 x 25mm with polished end which fits with a spacer to screw into w/screen frame.

Hi, Just done the sunvisors on my 2009 4/4 and it was 2BA, M5 starts but binds up after one turn, the same with 10-32. Mine is definelty 2BA. Not sure if that helps at all

Definitely M5 on the 2012 4/4 I used to have.
Beware these holes are not blind. Be very sure the screws do not touch the windscreen.

Thanks folks. I had tried M5 but the thread didn't seem right. I'll look at 2BA

Nickplus4, have you tested in the meantime if the 2BA thread is right?
