Owning a Morgan at 30 was quite a step and returning to ownership now must mean you have a great affinity for the marque ! Hi Mad Max, It goes like this. A chap from the cycling club owned a Morgan 4/4. This is going back about fifty years. Move on a bit and the friend's nephew, also a member of the cycling club met my sister at a party. After they had been married a few years (about forty years ago) Dave bought a 4/4. He then bought a +8 (1968 vintage) and restored the 4/4 and it was eventually sold. I had bought a 4/4 (VUY5G). Dave still has his +8. His reg no. was only two numbers different to mine. He still has it, so you can see there is a bit of family history of Morgans. I also lived in Kempsey and could see the Malvern Hills from my house. My late wife worked for the Halifax in Malvern. I also owned a TVR 3000S but my preference was always for a Morgan. Richard

Welcome from a fellow 4 seater owner and a Richard to boot.Have owned mine 1999 model for coming up to six years and use it all year round average of 4 thousand a year .Had a tour of Europe planned for this summer first summer since I retired,never mind we will get it done one day.Enjoy you miles and smiles.

Yes welcome - those 2 seaters don't know what they're missing  Just 're-rubbered' the back of mine (I can remove the seat cushions and have a considerable lined load space for camping and stuff )

Thank you +8 Rich. Having owned a TVR in the past it might be one of the colours that TVR used on their Chimeras, Griffiths etc. It does look good when the sun shines on it.
Thank you also Paul F. My wife, or at least her cousins are very much into horses. I see that you and +8Rich are interested in aviation. My late wife's son owns the last remaining Series 5 Auster. I've got some photos. It would be lovely to see pictures of the Auster. Kerry (The TM user with an Auster - AKA Auster on here) will no doubt be along soon and will want to see it.

Hi, Here is a photo of Steve's plane. I say Steve but I think he only owns a wheel! Seriously I think it is owned by him and a few friends. He is a professional pilot. I would post a photo if I could. I managed three on the first page but I cannot add any more. I use Flikr but I see that the forum suggests Photobucket. Does it matter which I use?

Don't use Photobucket - they effectively held their free accounts to ransom several years ago and ask for payment should you wish to share your photos to other web sites via linking. Flickr (as found on some other web sites) can show problems with linking - photos not being visible. Many here now use www.tm-img.com, set up by a member and administered by a couple of members. Instructions for use here: https://www.tm-img.com/page/ifu You'll need to create an account to see the instructions. It's fairly simple (if you are used to messing about with Flickr!). It's free to TM members, paid for on a voluntary donation basis. Don't attempt to upload photos directly into a thread - that was effectively disabled some time ago when the list owner / moderators were trying to resolve very slow loading forum.

The tm-img site is really easy to use (some seem to have a problem with it, but for the life of me I can't understand why!) - upload a photo (or insert URL), copy the code, paste into your message. It really is that easy
