I think the 6x6 are similar to Morgan’s, rare, exclusive, different and don’t make much sense on paper!

Yup, unless you are planning African safaris. The early conversions tended to be a crew cab with a box on the back for camping kit including cooking and even shower facilities. But, there have been lots of others. I definitely have no need of a 6x6 station wagon with enough seating for a small coach! And I have no intention of going camping/caravanning ever again - give me a decent pub with B&B

Slightly off topic but still something I would love to own, money no object, would be a Truck Camper. The Germans seem to do it best, take an offroad truck and fit it out like a yacht inside. ![[Linked Image]](https://cdn.autobild.es/sites/navi.axelspringer.es/public/styles/855/public/media/image/2016/10/580513-fin-mundo-autocaravanas-offroad-mas-extremas.jpg)

They are amazing bits of kit, but TBH I wonder if swanning around remote areas of the Third World in one of these would be a bit of a lure for any resentful local ne'er-do-well wiith an AK47?

Yes I agree, even without an AK Pointed at you, would you want to drive through starving villages in that?
