Strange but true story.
Number plate on my 4/4 is my initials and 3 numbers, which I acquired when I bought a Mercedes 450SE, primarily to get the number. So thats not so strange, but as some of my posts may indicate my other love is pre-war Triumphs. Of which there was a maximum of 30,000 made. Anyway when researching that numberplate it turns out that it was originally issued on a 1937 Triumph Dolomite.
I only found that out when the 4/4 won the best non triumph award attending the annual Pre 1940 TOC AGM.

Number Plates...Had few over the years..7 EMS..44GWC... Still got.. C1TUF... K1TN X..J1PAG...PG11BRT..V5SCA..D7PAG... MR11MOG.. Must get rid of a few..

I like 7EMS for no apparent reason.
I can't afford a 'vanity plate' although there are plenty with my postcode and three decent letters for a bargain price of £400-odd.

'GWC' would have done for my business transport a number of years ago... But I closed that down when I joined this outfit.

My initials are G.W. - however, I was running a one man computer & peripherals repair outfit a number of years ago...
Pulled the plug as computer prices kept falling and firms decided just to buy new rather than repair.
