I recently acquired a 1999 4/4 which has two electrical faults (maybe same source)

1) The dash lights and the suppy to rear fog light and reversing light is not there

2) The radio supply is deqad

I have checked all 20 odd fuses under dash board and cannot find any others.

I got no handbook or documentation with the car so maybe there are some hidden in line fuses.

Any ideas

Howard,
reomove the parcel shelf carpet & lift the pywood lid up.
You should see the rear axle plus the battery & the isolator switch wiring. There is an inline fuse in the wiring.

John ,

That fuse should be source for rear lights etc but any idea about location of fuse for radio, hazard lights - other than main fuse box under dash.

All other items work dials and main lights & flashers

On my 1994 4/4 that fuse fed the parking lights & clock so they worked when the isolator switch was off.

John,

Just a quick thank you - locating that fuse was the answer.

Howard,
your welcome. I know when it blew on mine due to using the lighter socket I was scratching my head for a while.
