Welcome to TM "Brilliant Green", good to see you on here finally. Shame we are not in IoM now but the ferry could have been a bit choppy, Mark H would have been lashing us to the mast .

Virtual meet and quiz re IOM
Saturday morning on the IOM. A bit cloudy with a breeze, sea looks quite choppy. After dinner last night we had an informative talk on "driving the TT course" with safety paramount. So, this morning a leisurely breakfast then around 10.00 am we shall split into five groups and head off for a drive of the TT course. As Ramsey is part way round the circuit we get to experience the mountain quite quickly.
Assembling at the grandstand we go off in the five groups again for a full lap. Lunch stop will be at Creg Ny Baa, the famous pub with atmosphere, time to chat about the course.
Return to the hotel to relax a while. Dinner at the hotel.

SUNDAY 24th May. The plan today was a visit to The Milntown Estate and Gardens.

Step inside the island’s only historical house open to the public where our team of volunteers will guide you through its beautifully elegant rooms and detail the powerful Christian dynasty, who occupied Milntown for 500 years, and the vision of Sir Clive Edwards, who left the Estate in trust for the benefit of the Manx people.
The Estate is owned by the Milntown Trust established under the terms of the Will of its previous owner and benefactor - Sir Clive Edwards.

Our Gardens are managed by Adam Quayle. He is assisted by a wonderful team of gardeners - Liam Faragher, Nathan Jackson and Tom Wood.

The Milntown Café is ran by our fantastic team of chefs and front of house staff.

We also have a wonderful team of volunteers who help with the House, Gardens and Vehicle Collections.

We had been granted permission to park all the Morgans in front of the house for a great photo shoot. There is enough to see here to take up the whole morning.
After lunch we shall depart for the short drive to Jurby where we shall visit the Transport Museum and those booked on the Go Cart sessions will have some fun.
Return back to the hotel late afternoon to relax before dinner in the hotel restaurant.
