I recently purchased a 2007 Aero 8 and it unfortunately came with only one remote door opener. I would very much like to get a spare. One dealer here said I would have to take the whole computer module out and send it back to the factory to be reprogrammed. I have emailed the factory but no answer yet. Anyone have any ideas how to get a spare. Thanks,Randy

Randy, I will ask when I next speak with the factory - should be in the next few days. I will report back then.

back in 2010, (just in time for LoS) my 2007 S3 central ocking packed up all together. The factory was unable to replace the unit as no longer manufactured so I have had to have new system installed, same as AeroSS. It now works perfectly. smile

Methinks that as different sytems have been used it may not be possible to get a new clicker but if you do, then I think you use the clicker to program itself to the unit in the car, but can't be certain on this thinking

Thanks> I did finally receive a response from the factory about whether I could get a replacement clicker, which was as follows: "No the clicker or remote control is now obsolete he will need to upgrade the whole system with MEE33361 at a cost of £95.06 which he would have to source through the dealer network."
I am trying to look into this further and order from a U.S.dealer.

Wow - an upgrade/repair on an Aero that costs less than £100? Bite their hands off!
