Seve' - as in Severiano Ballestero, a golfing master, who had a slight off beat side to him....

Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

Never named a car although we both have a tendency to name other things.

Two of my favourites at work were GLEN the miller and HARRY the plotter.

I'll get me coat!

The M3W is Margaux after the MX suffix on the plate and Margaux Hemingway - both are stunning.

The Coupe is called Shiny because of the colour and the S2 is called softy as it has a soft top.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Our +4 is named ‘Morgie’ after my oldest friend, Dave Morgan (nickname for more than 30yrs = ‘Morgie’), then my wife’s Fiat 500 is named ‘Florence’ & my Mégane is called ‘Megan’.

I had a Series 2 SWB Landrover for 20yrs & his name was ‘Shorty’ 🤷🏼‍♂️!

There is a way of changing the name of a boat without incurring the wrath of Neptune - it does involve a lengthy poem called out loud from various parts of the boat, intense pleadings to various unpleasant deities who can do nasty things to seafarers if ticked off and considerable quantities of expensive beverages, a portion of each shot being poured over parts of the boat and into the deep for Neptune to savour.. maybe there's a variation for a Morgan to be renamed ... am sure there is a mythical deity of the open road who will need pacifying in the approved manner!

The Morgan equivalent would be the dread diety Gatsonides ..... who fell from the ways of righteousness and spawned the evil device which can do nasty things to motorists!! smile

Spirits and incantations! Do you suppose the boys at the factory name these cars/M3w's before they send them off into the World?

We call it "The Major" as one off the previous owners was a Major in the 1st The Queen's Dragoon Guards plus the fact that the Major in "Keeping up appearences" drives a Morgan in one off the episodes.
