Old age. There is a thread on here about that but I forgot where. Glad you had fun.

Another nice bimble round the Northants/Bucks countryside - Irthlingborough, Burton, Sywell, Overstone, Billing and then on to Salcey Forest for a picnic, then back through Hanslope, Olney, Lavendon, Harrold and Podington.

The only mild frustration was having to slow down to 10mph every 300yds to get past cyclists. Never seen so much lycra......

110 miles yesterday along A46, towards Bath. Beautiful weather for it, although roads busy.

77 miles today into Clumber Park, then over to my ancestral pile near Gainsbrough near the River Trent.

Lycra much in evidence here especially this morning , I find the more lycra clad the least mannered whereas the leisure cyclists are better behaved !

MAMILs everywhere here. I had to move the Roadster to get at something for swmbo in the garage so did a quick run into Felixstowe and bought a crabbing net to removes grass clippings from the pond (our green bins were finally emptied on Sat after the lockdown so grass cutting even given the drought was all you can here in this part of Suffolk).

Same here.....we left home at 0700, but by half eight there were dozens of bikes, and lots of runners around.

We crossed the A1 a few times and it was deserted.

Oh yes - Unlimited headroom and blue skies in East Sussex today. Went out for the simple pleasure of driving - up over the downs between Eastbourne and Seaford. Fantastic - loved every second. With fresh petrol the Sigma engine was spinning freely, giving the rev counter a decent work-out and signing tunefully through its Wolf Performance AR manifold. One of those days when its better to seek the longest round trip home. Feel very lucky to be able to drive a Morgan.
