True, but today I got to day dreaming of what else I could get for the costs of trading in my Roadster & the extra cash needed. I can basically keep the Roadster & get a Mustang (sadly the Polo would have to go). I can't see HO falling for that as her car would be out of the garage, but it does show the price point. I am also very fond of such an idea. I once saw such a special edition. Bullitt in green. It would be a coupe, too. Very tempting. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/06/04/C3E8B304-8E73-4EA4-89B4-6752E0D25B5E.jpg) Very tempting , especially when one of the fettling specialists have done their stuff on it ! Roush for instance .

That is quite amusing Heinz and John.
I too have a hankering for a Mustang, it would have to be a V8 of course, and in ruby red, but just keep the standard spec , none of the trick parts that so many seem to get added on . In fact I promised myself that if I ever have to sell the +8 , then that would be my compensation.
Would I be allowed to drive it in London , probably not.

Morning John - Have you driven one around British roads? A good friend test drove one along the A25 and surounding lanes. Was not impressed by the ride quaility along these windy roads. Brought an RS instead. Loves it. Ooh, now that is tempting.

Yes , circa £69k for a four cyl turbo , a lot more than the previous model ! But its a lot more car. You could even say that its is a car whereas the previous model was an anachronism. In any case you need to compare the price with that of similar tiny volume specialist cars. If you want something that is different and not run of the mill then you have to pay for it.

Steve, only on US roads & Route 66 goes well off piste at times. I don't think I will take the risk of a test drive just yet. John

If you like to drive a traditional Morgan, you also accept the handling of a modern Mustang. I have also driven small B Roads in the forests of Oregon in the USA. No problem at all. Here in Germany the Mustang is very popular and you see it relatively often. Also this would not be an obstacle for me. The car is quite well made, the seating position is correct and the handling is simple and straightforward, even the digital toys do not take over. You hardly need to pay any extras, almost all inclusive. Okay, it's a cruiser, 1.8 tons. Biggest drawback for me with the coupe, there's no sunroof abailable.
