I'm popping this on here it's the one recently sold by Oakmere and the gentleman's face speaks volumes, that colour and shape are breathtaking.

Although I will never own one (unless I do win the lottery) I must admit there is something that is addictively haunting about the looks of an Aeromax.

It just seems so perfectly proportioned at the rear compared to all Aeros (3 wheelers excepted of course)

I gather that the rear windows fly open at speed due to the aerodynamics , but who cares, just drive it more slowly and put up with all those admiring looks.

Likewise these machines are well beyond my pension but they are achingly beautiful and this colour is such a compliment to those lines.

I think Alistair's extremely modest but truthful tale from his Italian holiday a couple of years back spoke volumes about the charisma this car carries, he arrived at a very smart hotel and an exoticar (howardmobile I think) was parked in pride of place at the front.

Once the Aeromax arrived the exoticar was removed and Alistair was invited to park there and of course he had to comply being the ultimate gentleman that he is with a grin from ear to ear I'm sure.

It is almost incomprehensible that the same company that created the Aero three wheeler as a cheap transportation device for the working man goes on to produce such a beauty for the successful businessman, it speaks volumes for the dynamic journey this small British company has travelled and continues to do so, long may it be so.

That colour suits the Aeromax. Gorgeous!

I must admit to really admiring the blue Aero Super Sport, currently on sale at Williams.

That’s the one! It is beautiful, but I’m not sure if it will fit in my garage!

Not just open Andy - the butterfly windows have been known to fly off altogether at speed!

For this reason, the factory fit a set of extended studs and use a different window/hinge bonding agent if any Aeromaxes pass through for a factory service. By the time I sold my car, I was on my third set of window glasses, the second (rebonded at a factory service) set having shattered as my Son opened them on a scorching hot day. The Factory was very helpful, accepting that the hinge bond was hard to get right - too flexible and it allows enough play for the windows to fly open, and if too inflexible it doesn't allow for thermal expansion of the glass and it shatters - and fitted a third set which were fine, though the studs fixing the glass do slightly spoil the smooth lines.

It's hard to tell if the gorgeous green car in the photo has this mod or not. It does have an external aerial antenna on the rear wheel arch - presumably because the integral aerial built into the rear side windows is not really up to the job.

The Blue one does look nice.

They have the '12 Coupe as well. I do like the plate on it. Williams12Coupe
I am a little surprised at the description on the Williams site given how well they know the cars! Apparently this one has a CVT gearbox, is from a Daf or a Prius/Lexus wink I do like the interior with the Alcantara on the seats.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
