Last year I lost my cap on a small road in Danmark. From the corners of the eye saw it flying in a fraction of a second. 200 meter later I could stop and park the 4/4. I walked back on a muddy field with high gras next to the road and searched for the cap. Without success. So I walked back to the car - again searching on the muddy field. No result. As I arrived at the car  left the 4/4, walked around the car AND TOOK MY CAP FROM THE LUGGAGE RACK......  Than I had a look at my shoes: Cap saved but the shoes had to go in the bin.  Next part I bought for the 4/4 was a cap lanyard

I lost forever a favorite cap that way. Going way too fast on a breezy day and it. was. just. gone...
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

We were participating in a MogWest rally 2 years ago, and I was trying to navigate and hold the precise speed by holding an iPhone in my left hand, while still steering. 90% of the iPhone’s surface was behind the windscreen. Then a small pebble hit the phone’s camera (sapphire) and shattered it in million pieces. Talk about one in a million...

That’s a huge fine and loss of licence here in Oz for even touching your mobile when driving 😂
