I have just got my car back - now with the SSL rear suspension (I had the front converted a couple of years ago). PJB was very helpful in my emails when I was dithering about whether to do it, and also who to do it.. My main motivation was to stop myself buying a new Plus 4 by upgrading my 2005 Roadster: a new car I can’t really justify (or afford!) and would also suffer the kind of depreciation that my Roadster seems immune to.
It’s been a revelation - far more than the subtle change from the front suspension conversion. Handling is so improved on corners - gone is the bouncing across the road when traversing an undulation in the tarmac, gone is the feeling of having to constantly adjust the steering in corners to stay on the road. I’m not a racing driver, or even a particularly fast driver, but this is a much safer and more attractive ride for me. Above all, my 1 mile bumpy track to my Devon house is no longer a creaking crashing nightmare but actually quite a pleasurable part of the journey.
So thanks PJB for a great design and re-vitalising my trusty Roadster, and thanks to Bradley and team at Berrybrook for a great installation.

Thanks for that write up Oliver, I also have a S1 Roadster and have been toying with "upgrading" to a CX Morgan however (for various reasons and until the itch develops into something more) - I too will go down the SSL route.

An S1 with better handling and more ride comfort - will give me all I need.

Try Rog's suspension aids tbump stops first. At £120 they work well.

I know the 5 link is "better" than the standard suspension but the car looses for me character.
I have upgraded shocks, Rog's stop bumps, an anti tramp bar & panhard rod plus I upgraded the rear suspension hangers to the modern stronger version.
