Just got back from Mog 2011. In the car park outside the entrance I saw an older green 4/4. G registered I think and sporting a NZ pendant on the front bumper. The car intrested me greatly as it appeared to have a proper boot at the rear and looked just like the new 4/4`s that dont carry a spare wheel. Does anyboby have any details of this mog or who owns it or where the work was carried out etc.
Thanks.

Sounds like the one Harpers made but that was a plus 8 I think - might be worth ringing Roger at Harpers and asking him if they did a 4/4 at anytime

No dave unfortunatly I didnt have a camera with me. Thinking about it now I could have taken a picture on my phone but at the time I didnt think of doing that. I had hoped to get a word with the owner but the mog had gone when i returned to my car. Nick now that you have jogged my mind I can remember Harpers doing a boot conversion, about the time of the drophead coupe they built and showed at Mog 90, or thereabouts. Anyone remember if there was a write up in Miscellany on it, before I drag them all out and trawl through them. It did look like a nice conversion and the boot door seemed to consist of the whole rear panel, where as, if memory serves me correctly, the Harpers boot lid only used half of the rear panel. There again I might have got it wrong. It was rather a long time ago!
