Nice little Exeter trip to meet up with an old pal for a catch up - a cracking blast through the countryside about 100 mile covered.

That is a nice run from where you are. Exeter is a great little town. My third son did his BA, MA & Doctorate there at the Uni.

Ours did similar but needed to get out of Devon at the time (itchy feet) and went to Bath and Aberystwyth and loved it but really enjoy coming back to the family home and surroundings with the grandchildren great times for us.

Quick run around the block to check a rattle had gone. I was alerted by someone that my over rider was wobbly, I succumbed at the time and said "yes, they all do that" but on investigation found that one of the bolts that held the lower end of the mounting arm to the chassis cross tube had sheared off. I found a replacement yesterday and fixed it so today went for a spin, all fine.

Just glorious to be out in the sun with relatively empty roads, At three risk of attracting a lot of anger, I'm selfishly becoming a fan of 'Lockdown' and really wouldn't mind if it continues a little longer. I hope this does not upset people too much and I understand that everyone has an opinion about this and some indeed a pressing need to be back earning their living, my son included and so I can empathise with all of that.
All my girls are working in healthcare and believe that it is still too early to loosen the restrictions.

Kev, mine over rider went wobbly and it held on by a U clamp used on exhausts. I replaced it easily enough & now test them regularly at the front.
I too drove around today to test some things on the car and a bit of shopping. Excellent stuff. Tomorrow is a day out with other Mog owners for a walk and a socially distanced picnic.

Got chatting to a young lady who was admiring the car in Morrisons car park at Totnes on the way back and what a delightful petrolhead she is, her late Dad was similar and since his death she has taken her Mum to 4 F1 races including Hungary and Austria and it turns out she runs a Cosworth powered 7 so we shall meet again.
