I guess it depends Graam on how long ago it leaked & where from. Why not leak test the as is set up first.

The Radiator leak is from the Engine radiator, but the air con one sits below it and is covered in the coolant which has leaked.
Does anyone have a pic of the standard air con rad setup as I suspect the air con radiator fitted might be non standard as it does not match the factory build book at all. Kwikfit do a regas service for £65 and if there is no improvement they refund . Funnily enough my aircon isnt working so I have taken it in for a regas (which I did last year) and not surprisingly - it still isnt working. The electrics look fine , so now im going for a deep dive to understand how they work!

By expansion of a liquid to a gas. You compress a gas to a liquid and feed it through a nozzle to the cooling coil. There the gas rapidly expands and uses energy to do that. The gas can then cool the air in the heat exchanger. It is then recompressed. Just like a fridge. So you have a pump as the main part. Usually the seal on the pump or the control vales fails & gas escapes.
The pump is normally driven off the fan belt.
