Just realised Steve Simmons heads this company. They seem to be busy making hoods as well, as advertised in Miscellany.

Is it just the camera angle, or is that seriously off-centre port / starboard ??

Just look at the bottom flat, where the spokes meet, sorry but I couldn't live with that

Definitely camera angle Jon and use of fish eye lens maybe. Have seen other pictures on their website to prove and it may be the spokes give a reverse dish for better arms length steering. They also had a short video showing how easily the wheel could be fitted and secured. It just pushed on then turned through 180° and locked from memory. Sadly all referencies on their website have been removed, so guess they had some issues hence the continued suggestions they will be offering a revamp.

The wheel is lift on-lift off (no half turn needed) and is not dished. I can post a photo of the mechanism if required.

Well . Once again a plethora of information and advice . I did spend a couple ...well maybe three or four hours on the dreaded interweb thingy doing some research . As usual more questions than answers !! I think the best and the healthiest is TBM's solution . Lose some weight ! So instead of spending more money I'll just buy less chocolate .
