I removed the lowering blocks on mine.
That reduced grounding a lot.
The spare wheel can not cause that much difference compared to co-pilot and a big suitcase on the rack which is standard on holiday trips. My car can handle the weight in the rear.
Hannes, which leaf springs do you use. And does the height without the lowering blocks still match the front hight or had you to level up the front as well? In the „Have you driven today...“ thread your car in the recent photo looks quite balanced.

In the case my car also should have this lowering blocks, is it easy to remove them just for a test of looks and drivability? I think you would need new u-bolts of the correct length.

Doug, yes that is obviously to see in Craigs photo. But can the lowering block easily be removed or is there a huge tension by the spring when loosing the u-bolts?

Try GoMog there is something in there on that and on the 4/4 Sports lowering blocks. Most of which is wrong.....

No time yet to change for the ones I got from Germany.😉 No changes on the front either. I felt no need to adjust headlight settings so the different in height is marginal, but noticeable at rear suspension

I think the first step Vassilis would be to have a look at your axle to see if there are any existing blocks between the top leaf of the spring and the axle. Whilst there, count how many leaves are on your current springs to determine whether a change from standard has already been made. I did a check: There is a block there and there are 4 leaves on the springs, although the whole thing is in a rather sorry state. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2020/06/12/IMG_2075.jpg)
